In an accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, two police officers died and a third was injured. The three sub-inspectors were on their way from Srinagar to Jammu after performing Amarnath Yatra duty when their vehicle met with an accident at Tengan in the Lasjan area.
All three officers were taken to a hospital, where two of them were pronounced dead. The deceased officers were identified as Sachin Verma and Shubham, while the injured officer was identified as Mastan Singh.
