The Jammu and Kashmir government has built 135,925 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Grameen Awaas Yojana (PMAY-G) over the past two years.
Of these, 109,412 were constructed in the Jammu Division, and 26,513 in the Kashmir Division.
Future Targets:
Due to the saturation of the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011 and the AwaasPlus database, there’s no new target for the 2024-25 financial year.
The government will focus on completing the remaining 140,021 houses from previous phases within the current financial year.
