A fatal motorcycle accident occurred today at approximately 12:30 pm on the national highway near CFM Hatli in Kathua. A motorcycle collided with a truck (PB11DB 9866), resulting in one death and one injury.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Ranjeet Singh, son of Pritam Singh. The injured individual is Lovely Sharma, 24 years old, son of Rajender Kumar. Both are residents of Surada Sola Kootah, Tehsil Hiranagar.
Following the collision, both individuals were transported to GMC Kathua. Ranjeet Singh was pronounced dead upon arrival. Lovely Sharma is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Ranjeet Singh’s body has been moved to the GMC Kathua mortuary. Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
