A sudden fire erupted at a poultry farm on the outskirts of Jammu city on Sunday night, claiming the lives of over 2,000 chickens. The blaze engulfed the entire facility, owned by Ranjeet Singh, located in the Doke Jagir area of Akhnoor tehsil.
Firefighters battled the intense flames through the night, but unfortunately, they were unable to save the trapped chickens. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and officials are working to assess the extent of the damage.
