A devastating fire ripped through a cattle shed in Surni village, tehsil Ramnagar, during the night of December 19-20, claiming the lives of 21 innocent animals. The blaze, which erupted in the shed owned by Yodhu Ram, quickly engulfed the structure before villagers and the owner could intervene.
Four cows, four oxen, two calves, and 15 sheep perished in the inferno, some succumbing to the flames, others buried under the smoldering debris. The fire left Yodhu Ram heartbroken and facing immense loss.
In the wake of this tragedy, local villagers have rallied together, urging the government to provide compensation to Yodhu Ram to help him cope with the financial burden. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
