A moderate earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale struck Leh, Ladakh early on Tuesday morning. The tremors, originating at a depth of 5 kilometers, were felt at 5:39:56 AM Indian Standard Time, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The NCS reported the epicenter at latitude 35.27°N and longitude 75.40°E.
