Seven lives were lost and seven more were injured in a devastating accident in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday. A passenger vehicle traveling in the Boniyar area of Uri lost control and plunged into a deep gorge, leaving a trail of tragedy in its wake.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ravinder Paul Singh confirmed the fatalities and injuries to PTI. Police teams responded swiftly to the accident site, recovering the bodies and initiating medico-legal procedures. The injured passengers were immediately transported to a hospital in Baramulla for medical attention.
