Army on Monday said an infiltration bid was foiled along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Based on inputs from intelligence agencies and @JmuKmrPolice regarding a likely infiltration bid, an anti-infiltration Operation was launched by Indian Army on the intervening night of 08-09 Sep 24 in general area Lam, Nowshera,” said an army spokesman.
He said two terrorists were killed in the operation. “A large quantity of war like stores including Two AK-47s and one Pistol thus far recovered,” he said, adding that the search operation is in progress in the area.
