A delegation of the Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal (FAIVM) met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan today. The delegation, led by Dr. Sanjay Bansal, President of FAIVM, thanked the Lt. Governor for the initiatives taken by the UT administration to promote industries and business activities in Jammu and Kashmir. They also apprised him of the various issues faced by the business community.
The Lt. Governor assured the delegation that their genuine demands would be addressed and that the interests of MSMEs would be safeguarded. He said that the government was committed to creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive in Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation also discussed the issue of the recent power outages in the region. The Lt. Governor assured them that the power situation would be improved in the coming days.
The meeting was also attended by Sandeep Mengi, Vice President of FAIVM, Sanjeev Agarwal, Secretary, Ajay Ahuja, Treasurer, and Ramit Khurana, Consultant.
