Gangyal Police have arrested a husband and wife for drug trafficking, seizing approximately 15-16 grams of heroin. The arrest occurred at Purmandal Morh during a routine vehicle check led by SHO Inspector Satvir Singh, under the supervision of SDPO City South and SP City South Jammu.
The suspects, Jaspal Singh (alias Deep Nagra) and Kajal Rajput, residents of Old Satwari, Jammu, were intercepted while traveling on a Scooty (JK02CJ-7841) from Baribrahmana towards Kunjwani.
A case (FIR No. 39/2025) has been registered under sections 8, 21, 22, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Investigations are underway to identify the supply chain and potential connections to larger drug networks.
