“The Police Post Canal Road team swiftly resolved a theft reported by Mrs. Runa Sadotra of Hari Nagar, Talab Tillo. Mrs. Sadotra reported that between March 14th and 16th, 2025, unknown individuals broke into her residence and stole water taps and AC wiring.
Following the complaint, FIR No. 36/2025, under sections 331(4)/305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), was registered at Police Station Nowabad on March 16th, 2025. An immediate investigation commenced.
A dedicated team, led by Incharge Police Post PSI Vikram Singh Manhas, under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Deepak Pathania, Dysp Hq Jammu, and overall supervision of SP City North, was formed.
Utilizing local intelligence, technical analysis, and CCTV footage, the team identified and apprehended the suspect, Sunil Kumar @Bugu, son of Kuldeep Raj, residing in Trilokpur Camp, Gole Gujral, Jammu. The stolen items were recovered.
This successful recovery underscores the Jammu Police’s commitment to delivering prompt justice and maintaining public safety.
The investigation is ongoing.
