A 26-year-old man lost his life Sunday in the Range Mode Pattan area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir when a Tavera vehicle collided with his motorcycle.
The young man has been identified as Aaqib Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir, a resident of Watergam Kreeri, according to reports.
Critically injured in the collision, locals quickly transported him to Trauma Hospital Pattan. Tragically, hospital doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, officials stated.
Police have since opened an investigation into the incident.
