Security forces neutralized three terrorists in an encounter that took place in the Shukroo Keller area of Shopian district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday, officials reported.
The operation was initiated based on precise intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. As security forces conducted a cordon and search, an exchange of fire ensued after the terrorists opened fire, prompting retaliation from the forces. The officials confirmed that the encounter resulted in the deaths of the three terrorists.
