The Jammu Traffic Police have taken action against a popular YouTuber and stunt biker, Jatinder Sharma, also known as Jannu, for his dangerous stunts on public roads. Sharma was apprehended on Friday, May 16th, 2025, and his KTM 390 DUKE motorcycle (JK02DG3400) was seized.
According to a statement released by the Traffic Police City Jammu to the news agency JKNS, Sharma, son of Narinder Sharma and resident of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, was arrested for performing life-threatening stunts, particularly on the Sidhra Flyover.
The statement highlighted that Jatinder, who runs the YouTube channel “Moto vlogger Jannu stunts” with around 2 million followers, had been repeatedly reported by the public for endangering his own life and the lives of pedestrians on various highways, including the Sidhra Bypass, Ring Road, and Jammu-Samba Road.
The Traffic Police emphasized that through his widely followed YouTube channel, Sharma was negatively influencing young people in Jammu and Kashmir and other regions to engage in similar dangerous activities. He has been booked under FIR No. 104/2025 U/S 281/125 BNS at Police Station Nagrota Jammu.
The Traffic Police City Jammu urged the public to educate their children about the dangers of such reckless behavior and to discourage them from participating in it. They also provided contact information (+9194191-47732 and ssptrfcjmu@jkpolice.gov.in) for reporting anyone found engaging in similar stunts.
The statement concluded by assuring that such actions against individuals endangering public safety will continue in the future.
