A laborer from Odisha was found dead under mysterious circumstances Tuesday morning at the under-construction multilevel car parking site at the new bus stand in Doda town. His body was discovered in the laborers’ residential quarters near the construction area.
Police were immediately informed and transported the body to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for post-mortem. A forensic team also visited the site to collect samples. Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
“So far, no suspicion has been raised. The cause will be confirmed after the post-mortem report,” officials stated.
