In a joint operation, 27 Assam Rifles and SOG Bandipora successfully apprehended a suspect during a naka checking at Ketsun Binlipora, recovering a Chinese grenade and 11 rounds of AK-47 ammunition. The individual was identified as Bashir Ahmad Cheche, a 48-year-old laborer from Halmatpora Aloosa. A case, FIR No. 119/2025, has been registered under sections 7/25 of the IA Act at Police Station Bandipora in connection with the seizure.
