Rajouri – An 18-year-old cricketer, Lakshit Sharma, drowned in the Munawar Tawi river in Rajouri district on Sunday morning. Sharma, a resident of Channi Sunderbani, was a highly regarded local player, known for his exceptional skills and considered to have a bright future in the sport.
His body was later recovered from the river and transported to Sunderbani Hospital for medico-legal procedures. Police have acknowledged the incident and begun an investigation.
