DC Budgam reviews progress of 125 bedded New District Hospital, 100 bedded CCU at Reshipora

Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Budgam, recently inspected the construction sites for the new 125-bedded District Hospital and a 100-bedded Critical Care Unit (CCU) in the Reshipora area.

The visit focused on speeding up the construction of these crucial healthcare projects, which are expected to significantly improve the district’s medical infrastructure. DC Bhat expressed his satisfaction with the rapid pace of development.

“Our commitment to upgrading healthcare infrastructure is unwavering,” he stated. “These new projects will be vital in providing advanced medical services to our community.” He also praised the efforts of all involved, expressing confidence that the new facilities would set a high standard for patient care.

Dr. Bhat mentioned that the district administration is working closely with the R&B and health departments to ensure the projects are completed ahead of schedule. The new hospital and critical care unit are expected to play a key role in providing specialized and critical medical services to local residents.

To ensure smooth progress, DC Bhat confirmed that the projects are being monitored regularly to address any issues in real time through coordinated efforts across multiple departments.

He was joined by Executive Engineers from the R&B department, AEEs, and representatives from the construction agencies.
