Security forces and terrorists are currently engaged in a gunfight in the Dool area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district.
According to officials, the encounter began on Sunday after security forces, acting on specific intelligence, launched a search operation. The terrorists, believed to be two in number, opened fire on the search party, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
The Army’s White Knight Corps confirmed the operation on X, stating that alert troops had established contact with the terrorists in the early hours of Sunday. The operation is still ongoing.
