A six-year-old boy and his eight-year-old sister are feared drowned after they were swept away by the Tawi river in Jammu city on Monday night, officials said on Tuesday.
The siblings, Ismael and Nadiya, were grazing cattle on the banks of the river when they slipped and fell into the water while playing near the Harki Podi area.
A rescue operation has been launched by the police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) to trace the missing children.
