In a heart-wrenching incident, four Indian Army personnel were martyred and three others injured in a terrorist ambush on Thursday evening. The attack targeted two Army vehicles carrying troops near Thanamandi in the Rajouri district.
The terrorists opened fire at around 3:45 pm, prompting swift retaliation from the Indian Army. Troops were on their way to reinforce an ongoing joint operation against terrorists launched the previous day in the 48 Rashtriya Rifles area.
