A team from Police Post Nagri, led by Inspector In-Charge (IC) PP Nagri Sub-Inspector Ashish Sharma, apprehended two accused individuals. The accused are identified as Bablu alias Samba and Gulshan Kumar, both sons of Satpal and residents of Ward No. 01, Nagri, Kathua.
The arrests were made in connection with FIR No. 72/2024 registered under sections 72/2024 u/s 341/323/382 IPC 4/25 Arms Act at Kathua Police Station.
The police team recovered a motorcycle, mobile phone, sword, lathi, and Rs. 800 from the possession of the accused.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Kathua Inspector Ajay Chib, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters Manjeet Singh Kathua, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) Paramjeet Singh, and under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua Shivdev Singh Jamwal (JKPS).
