J&K Sees Nighttime Temperature Increase Under Cloud Cover

Night temperatures increased across most of Jammu and Kashmir due to cloudy skies and a chance of rain in the next 24 hours.

• Srinagar: Minimum temperature rose to 8.0°C from 4.8°C the previous night, 1.6°C above normal.
• Qazigund: Minimum temperature increased to 7.0°C from 4.8°C, 1.9°C above normal.
• Pahalgam: Minimum temperature rose to 2.5°C from 0.5°C, 0.8°C above normal.
• Kokernag: Minimum temperature reached 6.8°C from 5.6°C, 1.7°C above normal.
• Kupwara: Minimum temperature climbed to 6.8°C from 3.6°C, 2.3°C above normal.
• Gulmarg: Minimum temperature rose to 2.0°C from 1.1°C, a significant increase of 2.8°C above normal.
• Jammu: Minimum temperature recorded at 17.8°C, 0.7°C above normal.
• Other areas: Banihal (8.2°C), Batote (9.7°C), and Bhaderwah (7.6°C).

• Thursday: Generally dry weather.
• Friday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain or snow in isolated places.
