BSF engages Pakistani drone at Samba border

In a nighttime incident on Friday, Border Security Force (BSF) troops in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district spotted a drone approaching from Pakistan. They fired warning shots (nearly two dozen rounds) in an attempt to bring it down. However, the drone managed to return to Pakistani airspace.

On Saturday morning, BSF launched a search operation in the Ramgarh sector’s Narayanpur area to secure the border outpost. This “sanitization” aims to ensure no weapons or drugs were potentially dropped by the drone.
