A school bus carrying students from International Delhi Public School (IDPS) in Bandipora, Kashmir was involved in an accident on Friday morning near Shokbaba village. Four students sustained minor injuries and were taken to the District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.
Dr. Mushtaq, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, confirmed that the children are in stable condition. They are being kept for observation but are expected to recover fully.
Police have registered an FIR (First Information Report) under relevant traffic laws for rash driving. The investigation will also determine if the bus was authorized to operate in the area and met all safety regulations, including not being overloaded.
