In Pathankot, Punjab, security forces are on high alert following reports of two suspicious armed men spotted by a villager.
Police, along with army and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, launched a major search operation in Pathankot and nearby areas like Bamial after receiving this information on Tuesday night.
“A joint operation involving Punjab Police, BSF, and the Army is underway in the Bamial area,” said Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Border Ranger Amritsar Rakhesh Kaushal.
