The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a Tehsildar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district for allegedly accepting a ₹50,000 bribe.
Ghulam Rasool Bhat, the Tehsildar of Kralgund in Handwara sub-district, was caught red-handed by an ACB team at his private residence in Mangwalpora, Handwara. An official stated that Bhat had demanded the bribe from an individual in exchange for permission to cut walnut trees.
