General Upendra Dwivedi, India’s Chief of Army Staff, conducted a visit to forward positions held by the Dagger Division of the Chinar Corps in North Kashmir. He engaged with soldiers stationed along the Line of Control (LoC).
General Dwivedi commended the troops for their bravery, strong morale, and operational effectiveness, specifically highlighting their performance in the recent Operation Sindoor.
He recognized their successful efforts in establishing control along the LoC and lauded their precise execution, which resulted in the destruction of militant bases in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address to the soldiers, the Army Chief emphasized the need for sustained high readiness and continued vigilance against ongoing security threats. He instructed them to “maintain unwavering preparedness to address any challenge with resolute and decisive action.”
