Arnia Police Station Recovers Large Cache of Stolen Goods, Solves Theft Cases

Arnia, July 16, 2025 — Arnia Police Station has reported a significant breakthrough in a theft case, leading to the recovery of a substantial amount of stolen property. The case, registered under FIR No. 44/2025 U/S 331(4), 305 BNS, was initiated based on a complaint from Surinder Kumar of Suhagpur, Arnia. The alleged accused, Rakesh Kumar of R.S. Pura, and others were identified in connection with the crime.

Acting on investigative leads and crucial information provided by the accused, a team from Arnia Police Station, led by SHO Inspector Dilawar Kumar and supervised by SDPO R.S. Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu, conducted a targeted recovery operation in Suhagpur village.

The operation successfully led to the seizure of numerous stolen items, including:

  • One paint bucket
  • One toilet seat
  • Three mainhole plates/covers
  • Fifteen iron Gaani rods
  • One blue submersible motor
  • Three 40-foot G.I. pipes
  • One G.I. bend
  • One electric motor
  • One welding set cable
  • Twenty LED bulbs
  • One key loom
  • Four tap irons
  • Twelve kilograms of copper wire
  • Two motorcycles

The accused guided the police to the precise location where the items were hidden. The recovery was conducted in the presence of independent witnesses, and an official seizure memo was prepared at the scene.
