In a statement released Monday, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed his disappointment with the Supreme Court’s verdict on pleas challenging the abrogation of Article 370. While acknowledging the court’s decision, Azad emphasized the discontentment it has caused among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Supreme Court’s verdict regarding Article 370 is undoubtedly a sad and unfortunate development,” said Azad. “Though we must accept the court’s ruling, it is important to acknowledge the deep sense of disappointment and dissatisfaction it has generated within the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
