The police in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir arrested five people suspected of acting against the nation’s interests. The detainees, Asif Ali Bhat, Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat, Waseem Mehraj Farash, Bashir Ahmad Sualiah, and Bilal Ahmad Dar (alias Shakir), were booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA). According to a police spokesperson, these individuals had a history of disrupting public order and engaging in subversive activities. The spokesperson further stated that despite facing multiple charges, they continued their unlawful behavior. All five are currently being held in district jails.
