Jammu, Dec 4: In a significant move aimed at enhancing civic infrastructure, Yudhvir Sethi, MLA East Constituency, today initiated development works worth Rs 35 lakh in Panjtirthi area, Ward No. 1 of Jammu city. The project is part of his ongoing commitment to fostering comprehensive development and improving the quality of life for residents of the constituency.
Addressing a gathering, Yudhvir Sethi underscored the importance of equitable development across all wards of the constituency. The development project is designed to resolve long-standing civic issues in the area and cater to the evolving needs of the local population.
Yudhvir Sethi emphasized that the developmental push reflects the aspirations of the people and his resolve to prioritize their welfare. “Under the regime of Modi government, development is not just about infrastructure; it is about improving lives and providing the residents with facilities that meet modern-day standards,” he said.
Highlighting the projects already undertaken in East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi outlined a roadmap for future initiatives focused on beautification, road upgrades, and the strengthening of basic amenities. He reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and inclusivity in the decision-making process, assuring that funds will be utilized judiciously for the maximum benefit of the people.
Residents of Panjtirthi expressed their gratitude for the timely intervention, appreciating Yudhvir Sethi’s dedication to addressing their grievances. Sethi also used the opportunity to interact with locals, gathering feedback on various issues. Sethi accompanied with party workers and prominent people of the area took a round of adjoining areas and took stock of civic issues. The people of area also apprised the MLA about shortage of water supply.
Sethi asked Rajesh Gupta, Executive Engineer PHE and AEE Sahil Arora to look into the matter and take adequate measures in addressing the genuine demands of the general public on priority. He also assured the locals that the issue regarding water supply will be resolved on priority basis. He also appealed to residents to support the administration in maintaining the newly developed infrastructure and collaborate in keeping the area clean and green.
“This is just the beginning. BJP is committed to create an East Constituency that stands as a model for growth, inclusivity, and progress,” he added.
