Despite the BJP’s poor performance in the recent Ladakh Development Hill Council elections, BJP leader Ravinder Raina has claimed that the party has seen a surge in both its electoral performance and vote percentage in the Kargil region of Ladakh. He pointed out that the BJP has won two seats in Kargil in the recent elections, compared to just one seat in 2018. He also noted that the party’s vote percentage has increased in the region.
Raina said that the BJP is fully prepared for all upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir, and that the party will contest these elections on its own. He expressed confidence that the BJP will win the elections, citing the developmental work undertaken by Prime Minister Modi in the region.
Raina also said that the BJP believes that the development work carried out by Prime Minister Modi and his efforts for the welfare of the poor will lead to overwhelming support for the party in any upcoming elections, be it assembly or otherwise.
