A fire broke out at a scrapyard in Qazigund, Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district, on Wednesday. Firefighters, assisted by J-K Police and local residents, rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze. The fire caused damage to property worth lakhs of rupees.
Officials stated that the fire was successfully extinguished with the assistance of local residents, fire personnel, and the police. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
