Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Nitin Agrawal, conducted a thorough inspection of the security situation and operational readiness of troops guarding the Jammu-Pakistan border on Wednesday. He visited areas close to the International Border (IB) and later met with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhavan, providing a detailed briefing on the border security scenario.
Accompanied by senior BSF officials, Agrawal assessed the overall security landscape and the troops’ preparedness to face any potential challenges. Inspector General D K Boora, BSF Jammu frontier, had earlier briefed him on the current situation.
