Indian border security forces seized two drones in Punjab in two days, suspected to have flown from Pakistan. On Monday, a drone was intercepted near the village of Tindi Wala in the Ferozepur District. On Sunday, two drones were recovered in the Bharopal and Nesta villages of Punjab’s Amritsar.
All three drones were China-made quadcopters. The Border Security Force (BSF) is responsible for guarding the 3,323 km India-Pakistan border. The BSF said that it is working closely with the Punjab Police to foil attempts by drug smugglers to use drones to smuggle narcotics into India.
