In a successful operation on Sunday, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Punjab recovered a Pakistani drone used for cross-border smuggling. The drone, identified as a DJI Matrice 300 RTK made in China, was found in a farming field near Hazara Singh Wala village in Ferozepur district.
This recovery comes after BSF received information about the drone’s presence and launched a swift search operation. The force hailed this as another example of their “strenuous efforts” to secure the border.
Just a day before this success, BSF officers near Amritsar thwarted a smuggling attempt and seized three packages suspected to contain 3.210 kg of heroin. The packages were found near the border fence in the early hours of January 6th.
