Jammu, July 18, 2025 – Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, and Inspector General of Police, Bhim Sen Tuti, recently led a comprehensive review of the arrangements for the upcoming Shri Budha Amarnathji Yatra 2025. The meeting aimed to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the annual pilgrimage, which is set to commence on July 28, 2025.
The high-level meeting saw the participation of senior officials, including the DIG CRPF, DIG JSK Range, DIG Rajouri-Poonch, and the Deputy Commissioners and SSPs from Jammu, Poonch, Rajouri, and Reasi. Heads of key departments like JPDCL, Tourism, Health, PWD, Jal Shakti, BRO, and Traffic Police were also in attendance. Importantly, representatives from civil society contributed their valuable suggestions.
The first group of pilgrims will depart from Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, on July 28, 2025. They will travel in a regulated convoy with full security to Tehsil Mandi in Poonch.
