Rehemtullah See, a resident of Ugad Tehsil in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir, has been arrested by the J&K Police in District Doda. He was absconding since 2023 in connection with an FIR registered in 2016 at Doda Police Station (FIR No.213/2016). The FIR includes charges under sections 497 (defamation), 436A (arson), 336 (endangering human life), 504 (intentional insult), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A warrant for his arrest (u/s 512 Cr.PC) was issued by the court.
A special team from Doda Police Station, with technical assistance, apprehended the accused. He will be presented before the court for trial in the aforementioned case.
