A tragic road accident occurred on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Khoni Nallah today, resulting in the untimely death of a truck driver. The incident took place when the truck, traveling from Jammu to Srinagar, veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge.
The driver’s body was recovered from the wreckage and transported to Ramban Hospital for identification. Witnesses described the truck losing control at a sharp curve, leading to the fatal accident. Miraculously, the truck’s helper survived the ordeal by jumping out of the vehicle before it plummeted.
