An elderly man has died after being struck by a vehicle in the Saderbal Palhallan area of Pattan, Baramulla district, North Kashmir, on Friday morning.
The victim, identified as Nazir Ahmed Sofi from Palhallan, was reportedly hit by an unidentified speeding vehicle. The vehicle did not stop after the accident and fled the scene.
Police are investigating the incident and are working to identify the vehicle and driver involved.
