JAMMU: Former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh was sent to 14-day judicial custody on November 18 by a special court in connection with an alleged money laundering case. Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on November 7.
The court ordered Singh’s judicial custody after observing that the investigation into the case is ongoing and that Singh is involved in a serious crime. The court also noted that Singh had not been cooperating with the investigation.
Singh will be produced in court again on December 1.
