A bus accident occurred on the Chamba-Udhampur road near Katra town in Jammu and Kashmir. Five passengers were injured when their bus collided head-on with a truck.
Police and local residents quickly responded to the scene to assist with the rescue effort. Those with serious injuries were transferred to Government Medical College Jammu, while others received treatment at Katra hospital.
Authorities have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.
