A terrible car accident yesterday in Handwara, north Kashmir claimed the lives of four family members.
Local reports say the man, his son and two daughters were all in the vehicle when it crashed in the Kanchaki area of Rajwar. The family has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Bhat, his son Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, and daughters Shabnum Aara and Rifat Aara.
News reports say the family was on their way to get water from a nearby village when the accident occurred.
The Peoples Conference offered their condolences in a social media post stating, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of four precious lives in the Handwara accident. Our hearts go out to the grieving family and friends of Ghulam Rasool Bhat and his children, Imtiyaz, Shabnum and Rifat. May their souls rest in peace and may the family find strength during this difficult time.”
