Acting on specific information,Bandipora police arrested 04 Gamblers in Markundal Sumbal and seized stake money and trump cards from their possession.
On specific information regarding Gambling activities at Gandh Kol Markundal area of Sumbal ,a police party of PS Sumbal raided the spot.On seeing the police party gamblers tried to flee but we’re apprehended tactfully.They have been identified as
01.Mohd Abdullah Dar, S/o Mohd Sadeeq Dar R/o Pushwari Naidkhai Sumbal
02. Habibullah Malla S/o
Mohd Malla R/o Markundal 03.Ab Rasheed Dar S/o Mohd Sultan Dar R/o Tengpora Naidkhai Sumbal.
04.Mehraj Ud Din Bhat S/o Mohd Sultan Bhat R/o Hurpora Naidkhai Sumbal. Stake money of Rs.13,200 along with sets of playing cards was recovered from their possession.
Accordingly ,a Case under relevant sections of gambling Act has been registered at Police Station Sumbal and further investigation taken up.
