In a win against drug trafficking, the Handwara police arrested two suspected peddlers and seized illegal substances.
Officers at a checkpoint in Chotipora stopped two individuals for questioning. A search revealed approximately 23 grams of a substance believed to be charas.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Suhail Ahmad Shagoo and Javid Ahmad Sheikh. Both are currently in police custody at the Handwara Police Station.
Authorities have registered a case under relevant laws and are conducting a thorough investigation.
