Samba, Jammu and Kashmir – Jammu and Kashmir Police today recovered approximately 500 grams of heroin from Chillyari village, located along the International Border in Samba district. The seizure was made by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the local police in the early hours of Saturday.
The operation was initiated after a local villager reported witnessing a suspected drone from Pakistan drop a yellow packet shortly after midnight. Following the tip-off, a search operation was immediately launched, leading to the discovery and seizure of the packet, which contained the heroin.
