High-level Security Meet, Chaired By LG Manoj Sinha, Begins In Srinagar

A high-level security review meeting, chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, is currently taking place at the Police Control Room (PCR) in Srinagar. Top officials from the Army, Police, CRPF, and various security agencies are in attendance. The meeting will focus on evaluating the security situation in the Kashmir Zone. A similar meeting to assess the Jammu Zone’s security will be held tomorrow.

This meeting follows security reviews conducted by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi last week concerning Jammu and Kashmir. Key agenda items for today’s meeting include counter-terrorism operations, infiltration attempts, and the growing problem of drug abuse in Kashmir. Among those present are the Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, all Kashmir Zone police officers, high-ranking Army officials, and representatives from various security agencies.
