Jammu and Kashmir leaders, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, have conveyed their Holi greetings to the public.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha, in his pre-Holi message, emphasized the festival’s role as a symbol of joy, hope, and the arrival of spring. He highlighted how the diverse colors of Holi reflect the region’s rich cultural tapestry. Sinha expressed his hope that the festival would bring happiness and a brighter future for all.
Former Chief Minister Abdullah echoed these sentiments, describing Holi as a celebration of happiness, togetherness, and harmony. He expressed his wish that the festival would strengthen bonds of brotherhood and fill lives with prosperity and cheer. Abdullah also prayed for peace and progress in Jammu and Kashmir, hoping the occasion would usher in new hope for everyone.
