The Meteorological Department predicts no major weather disturbances across Jammu and Kashmir until the end of July. However, expect hot and humid conditions to persist until July 26th.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
- July 22nd to 26th: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers possible in some areas. Kashmir is likely to see isolated rain and thunderstorms, while Jammu might experience more widespread showers.
- July 27th and 28th: Expect partly to generally cloudy skies with intermittent light to moderate rain and thunderstorms across many places in Jammu and Kashmir.
- July 29th to 31st: There’s a chance of isolated to scattered rain showers across Jammu and Kashmir.
Important Note: The advisory warns of the possibility of intense, short-duration showers in Jammu division. These showers could trigger landslides, mudslides, and rockfalls in vulnerable areas.
